ABOUT MANU XAVIER *

Manu Xavier is a Brazilian queer rock artist, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles, California. Born in Cuiabá and raised in a world of records through her father’s work as a musician and record store owner, her connection to music has been lifelong and deeply rooted.

Blending modern rock with Brazilian and blues influences, Manu crafts a sound that is both raw and magnetic—driven by intense lyricism, catchy guitar riffs, and an emotional edge. Inspired by artists like Jeff Buckley, Patti Smith, Wet Leg, and Lady Gaga, her work reflects a new generation of alternative rock shaped by identity, sensuality, and community.

A 2026 graduate of Berklee College of Music, where she studied songwriting and music production, Manu is always moving between stage and studio. Known for her high-energy live performances and unique stage presence, she has built a reputation for creating immersive, emotionally charged shows.

Alongside her work as a performer, she is also a DJ, expanding her sonic world beyond the stage. Her recent singles, “SHELF” and “Susie,” along with her self-produced EP Devil’s Hand, mark the beginning of a bold, personal project that is as intimate as it is powerful.
